Home diagnostics

Diagnostic support without unnecessary travel.

Home sample collection may make it easier for a senior or a person with limited mobility to have prescribed tests carried out. The appropriate test, collection arrangements and service availability need to be confirmed before booking.

  • Home blood sample collection
  • Urine testing
  • Senior health panels
  • HbA1c and diabetes-related testing
  • Lipid profile and thyroid tests
  • Renal and liver function tests

The diagnostic services described here are potential options from our care offering. Not every test or service may be available at every location or time.

Health checks & portable diagnostics

Routine checks, easier to coordinate.

Health check-up packages

Periodic health checks and senior health panels can be discussed according to the person’s requirements. The tests included should be appropriate to the individual, rather than selected only because they appear in a package.

Package contents, service availability and charges are confirmed separately. A qualified clinician should guide any medical interpretation or follow-up.

ECG & portable diagnostics

Potential home diagnostic support includes a 12-lead ECG, portable imaging coordination, spirometry and point-of-care testing, where available and appropriate.

These are separate professional diagnostic services. The team will need to confirm whether the requested test can be arranged at home and what preparation or appointment details the provider requires.

Ambulance & medical transfers

When getting there matters.

Arranging transport can be a significant part of a healthcare visit. The person’s mobility and medical needs help determine what type of transfer is appropriate.

Support may include planned medical transfers, hospital-to-home transfers, visits to diagnostic centres or hospital appointments, and an appropriate medical escort where available. Ambulance coordination can also be discussed, subject to the required capability and availability.

A confirmed transfer should make clear what has been arranged. An enquiry through this website is not a confirmed ambulance booking, and no response time or emergency intervention is guaranteed.

  • Planned medical transfers
  • Hospital-to-home transfers
  • Diagnostic centre transfers
  • Hospital and OPD travel coordination
  • Nurse or medical escort, where available
  • Ambulance requirements, subject to confirmation

Hospital & diagnostic escort

Someone to accompany the visit.

A hospital or diagnostic appointment can involve more than the journey itself. For a senior attending alone, or a family arranging care from another city, having someone accompany the visit may be helpful.

Escort support can be discussed according to the appointment and the individual’s needs. Where clinical assistance is required, an appropriately qualified professional must be considered; a non-clinical companion does not replace medical personnel.

The scope of accompaniment, professional required and availability should be agreed before the visit.

Medical equipment support

Equipment, based on the requirement.

Equipment support may be discussed for items such as oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, BiPAP or CPAP devices and other equipment appropriate to the requirement. Availability is subject to confirmation.

Equipment should not be selected solely from a website description. The clinical requirement and relevant professional guidance need to be understood first. Device availability, supply arrangements and charges are confirmed separately.

Your questions

Planning tests and transfers.

Answers to questions families often ask.

Can diagnostic tests be done at home?

Certain sample collection and diagnostic services may be arranged at home, subject to the test required, professional suitability and availability. The specific service must be confirmed before booking.

Are ECG and portable diagnostics always available?

No unconditional availability is promised. The care team needs to confirm the requested service, location and appropriate provider for your enquiry.

Can you help with a hospital-to-home transfer?

You can discuss a planned transfer and any escort needs with the care team. The arrangement depends on the person’s medical and mobility requirements and service availability.

Is the website enquiry form an emergency helpline?

No. It is an enquiry and assessment-request channel. For a medical emergency, seek appropriate emergency services and hospital care immediately.
